Those crazy trail runners from where Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland meet. Disorganizers of the PHUNT 50K, The Feast of St. Roch, the Mason Dixon Longest Day 100k Challenge, and various other ill-advised adventures.
St. Roch rescheduled Saturday, July 22, 2017
The Revenge of St. Roch, the rescheduled running of our cancelled summer trail celebration, will be held at 8 am on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Race Mis-Director Wayne Heffelfinger invites you to join us for an ill-advised Traildawg mis-adventure of 15-ish, 10-ish, or 5-ish miles through the beautiful woods of Fair Hill. Assembly time & place: 8 am, Fair Hill NRMA Lot #5, 2000 Appleton Rd, Elkton, MD 21921
Just in case you didn't ever realize this... the St. Roch 15 miler is an ultra... an ultrahalfmarathon!
No registration fee. Just bring some goodies to share. Cash donations accepted, too.
No advance registration. Sign the USATF waiver and sign in on the registration sheet onsite, log-in your finishing time and distance when you get back to the start.
Full immersion baptism in the holy waters of Elk Creek is included for those interested in salvation of their running soles. Bring a plastic bag for any electronics you might carry -- Wayne has made sure that you will get wet (well, you could run extra distance to avoid it, but why?).
The trail markers will have been up for more than a week. Wayne may or may not touch up the week old markings so plan on more than the usual navigation adventures heh heh heh.
Hosted by the Trail Dawgs with support of the Cecil Trail Squirrels!
