2015 Mason-Dixon Longest Day 100K Challenge has been met!

Well, another band of trail crazies took the challenge this year and three survived.

The MDLD 100K is an invitational Trail Dawgs running celebration and picnic held on the longest Saturday of the year (longest meaning of daylight). The 60+ miles of trail between Susquehanna State Park, in Maryland, and Long Level, in Pennsylvania is scenic, gnarly, and gets harder and harder toward the finish.

This year's version was held on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Runners set off just after the 5:37 am sunrise. Six starters attempted the full distance, three finished the 100K,and two of them (** below) made "The Challenge" within 15:01 of daylight. Three runners started opting for shorter "fun run" distances.

Congratulations to these finishers!
1. Ron Green, 1415 **
2. Zach Geiple, 1452 **
3. Kevin Russell, 1540
